About WheelWhirl
WheelWhirl is a free wheel spinner and random picker. You type your own entries or open a ready-made wheel, spin, and get a result that everyone can see.
What you can do here
The site has 207 ready-made wheels, from a yes or no wheel and a what-to-eat wheel to team pickers, classroom tools, party games and holiday wheels. You can edit any of them, add your own entries and weights, and save, share or embed the result. Beyond the wheels there are a Secret Santa generator, a random team generator, a YouTube comment picker, a Streamer Studio for Twitch and YouTube Live with an OBS overlay, and verified draws that anyone can check.
How winners are chosen
Every spin picks its result first, using your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and then animates the wheel to land on it. The animation, colors and sound cannot change the outcome, and each entry's chance equals its share of the wheel. The details, including a test you can run yourself, are on How Our Randomness Works. For giveaways, a verified draw goes further: the winner is calculated from a locked list and a public randomness source, so the organiser cannot choose it.
Your entries stay with you
There are no accounts. The names you type live in your browser, saved wheels are stored on your own device, and a share link carries the wheel in the part of the address after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server. The pages that need an outside service say so, and the Privacy Policy lists exactly what is shared with whom.
How the site is paid for
WheelWhirl is free to use and has no paid tier. To cover the costs of running it, the site may show advertising. Ads are kept apart from the content, and they do not decide what we write: see the Editorial Policy. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before ad or analytics cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie Settings in the footer.
Who runs WheelWhirl
WheelWhirl is published by WheelWhirl. The articles and wheel descriptions are written by the WheelWhirl team, and we say so on every article instead of attributing them to invented experts. You can reach us at support@wheelwhirl.com or through the contact page. We read requests for new wheels, reports of mistakes and questions about how something works.
Independence
WheelWhirl is not affiliated with any sports league, team, game publisher, social platform or brand named on the site. Names are used only to say what a wheel is about, and they belong to their owners. See the Disclaimer for the full wording.
