WheelWhirl
Digital Inclusion

Accessibility Statement

Committed to digital inclusion, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility

Our Goal

WheelWhirl is dedicated to making our digital wheel spinners, decision tools, and educational utilities accessible to all individuals, including educators, students, and users with motor, cognitive, visual, or auditory impairments.

Conformance Standard

We target compliance with the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Our engineering implementation includes:

Full Keyboard Operability

Wheels can be triggered with Spacebar or Enter. Dialog modals feature focus trapping and Escape key dismissal.

ARIA Live Region Winner Announcements

Winner reveals are broadcast through aria-live="polite" regions so screen reader users hear results instantly.

Color Contrast & High-DPI Clarity

Text labels and interactive controls exceed the 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio across both light and dark display modes.

Reduced Motion Respect

We honor prefers-reduced-motion system queries by shortening spin animations and limiting screen-shake.

Feedback & Assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need assistance using our wheels with assistive technology, please email our engineering team at support@wheelwhirl.com. We review accessibility tickets as high priority.
