Editorial policy
A short, plain description of how WheelWhirl writes its guides and wheel pages, and what we do and do not claim.
1. Who writes the content
WheelWhirl is published by WheelWhirl. The guides on the blog and the text on the wheel pages are written by the WheelWhirl team and appear under the byline “WheelWhirl Editorial Team”. We do not present the team as having professional titles it does not have, and we do not publish articles under the names of invented experts.
2. How we prepare a guide
We write about things we can check. For how the wheels, the Streamer Studio and verified draws work, we describe what the software does and test it before the guide goes live. For rules set by other companies, such as Instagram, Twitch or YouTube, we point to the platform’s own published terms and tell readers to check the current version, because those rules change. Probabilities and examples in our articles are calculated, not estimated, and the randomness code on this site has automated tests.
3. What our guides are not
Our articles on giveaways, prizes and taxes are general information, not legal or financial advice. Rules differ by country and region, and we are not a law firm. For anything that carries legal risk, check the rules where you live or ask a qualified professional. Our wheel pages about food, exercise and relationships are suggestions for fun and inspiration, not medical, dietary or personal advice.
4. Names, teams and games
Some wheels use the names of sports teams, video game characters and similar. We use them only to identify what the wheel is about. WheelWhirl is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league, team, game publisher or rights holder, and their trademarks belong to their owners.
5. Advertising and sponsors
The site may show advertising in the future. Ads are kept separate from the articles and are labeled as ads where required. Advertisers do not decide what we write, and we do not accept payment to publish or change an article. If we ever publish sponsored content, we will label it clearly.
6. Your data and our tools
What you type into a wheel stays in your browser. How the site handles personal data and cookies is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, and how winners are chosen is explained on How Our Randomness Works.
