Build a wheel, copy one URL into OBS, and let chat fill it. Viewers type !join, you or a moderator types !spin, and the winner appears on stream with sound and confetti. No account, no login, and nothing from your chat is stored on our servers.
Hotkeys: Space spin · R dismiss winner · M mute
Set it up in your streaming software
OBS Studio
- Open the OBS overlay tab above, choose a mode and copy the Browser Source URL.
- In OBS, click + under Sources and choose Browser.
- Paste the URL, set Width and Height to 1080, and tick “Shutdown source when not visible” if you like.
- Leave Custom CSS empty. The overlay removes its own background, so transparent works out of the box.
- To spin by hand, right-click the source and choose Interact, then click the wheel.
Streamlabs Desktop
- Copy the Browser Source URL from the overlay tab.
- Click + in the Sources panel and pick Browser Source.
- Paste the URL into the URL field and set the width and height to 1080.
- Resize the source on your canvas. Transparency is applied automatically.
Twitch Studio
- Edit the scene you want, then click + Add Layer.
- Choose Browser Source and click Add.
- Paste the overlay URL into the Webpage field and confirm.
- Set the resolution to match the layer size (for example 1080 × 1080) and save.
Want to control the overlay from a dock? In OBS choose Docks → Custom Browser Docks, add this page, and pick Linked mode so the dock and the overlay share one wheel.
Giveaway and stream ideas
- Subscriber giveaway: switch on “Subscribers only”, ask for !join, and spin when the timer ends.
- Viewer-picks-the-game: put the games you are considering on the wheel and let chat vote with !join on a second wheel.
- Punishment wheel for a hardcore run: load a challenge list and let a moderator trigger the spin with !spin.
- Raid-welcome prizes: keep the wheel for the first few minutes after a raid and use elimination mode so nobody wins twice.
- Charity stream milestones: attach a different wheel to each donation goal and spin when it is hit.

Streamer wheel FAQ
Do I need to log in to Twitch?
No. The wheel reads your public chat anonymously over Twitch’s standard chat connection. It cannot post messages and it never asks for your Twitch password or an access token.
Why does the overlay not react to my control panel?
Linked mode uses the browser’s BroadcastChannel, which only connects pages inside the same browser or the same OBS. If you run the control panel in Chrome and the overlay inside OBS, use standalone mode (the overlay reads chat itself) or add this page to OBS as a Custom Browser Dock.
Can I limit entries to subscribers or followers?
Subscribers only is supported because the subscriber badge is public in chat. A followers-only filter is not possible without a logged-in Twitch app, so it is not offered.
Does the overlay show ads?
Never. The overlay and embeds contain no ads, no navigation and no cookie banner. Only this landing page can carry ads.
Does this work for YouTube Live chat?
Yes. Open the Chat tab, paste your live stream link and your own free YouTube Data API key, and viewers can type !join in YouTube chat just like on Twitch. It runs in your browser, so the quota is yours and nothing passes through our servers. Twitch and YouTube can be used at the same time. One limit to know: YouTube charges a small quota cost for every chat check, so a single free key covers about three hours of chat a day.
Is my YouTube API key safe?
It stays in your browser, and you can choose not to save it. If you use the standalone overlay, the key is part of the overlay link so OBS can read chat, so treat that link like a password and restrict the key to the YouTube Data API in Google Cloud. Linked mode keeps the key out of the link.
Is the spin fair if viewers can join live?
Yes. The winner is picked with the same cryptographic random generator as every other wheel, before the animation starts. Viewers who join during a spin are added after it finishes.
