Ideas for the elf, when you are tired

By the second week of December, parents often run out of ideas. The wheel suggests scenes such as an elf in a glass jar, making snow angels in flour, zip-lining across the living room or taking a marshmallow bath. A spin gives you tomorrow’s setup.

Prepare the scene after the children are asleep and keep it simple. A short note from the elf adds personality.

Keeping it manageable

You do not need to do something elaborate every night. Alternate big ideas with simple moves, like sitting somewhere new. Use Remove winner after each spin to plan the entire season without repeats, and keep the plan somewhere children will not look.
