Ways to use this wheel

  • Grand Prix Breakfast Contest: Every party guest spins for a driver; the highest finisher picks the breakfast menu.
  • F1 Video Game Career Mode: Sign with whichever constructor the wheel selects.
  • Driver of the Day Vote: Spin to spotlight an unsung midfield driver to track throughout the Grand Prix.

Pick a driver for your Grand Prix weekend

Formula 1 has 20 drivers across ten teams, and each pairing is on the wheel. Use it to choose who to cheer for on a race day, who to drive in a racing video game, or who to name in a friendly prediction game.

For a watch party, give each guest a spin before the race and award a small prize to whoever ends the day with the best result. In a game, spin for your driver at the start of each race to avoid always using the same car.

Drivers move teams

Line-ups change during and between seasons. If a driver has moved, edit the label in the entries panel to show the new team. You can also split the wheel into two, one for teams and one for drivers, by deleting entries from each copy.

It opens with 20 entries: Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Sergio Perez (Red Bull), Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) and 17 more. Spin it as it is, or change the list to match your group.

What can I use this wheel for?

People use it for game nights, drafts and practice. Popular ideas include Grand Prix Breakfast Contest, F1 Video Game Career Mode and Driver of the Day Vote. For example, Grand Prix Breakfast Contest: every party guest spins for a driver; the highest finisher picks the breakfast menu.

Is this wheel really random?

Yes. The result is picked by a secure random number generator in your browser before the animation starts, and the animation only shows it. Each of the 20 entries starts with the same 5% chance unless you set different weights. See how our randomness works for the details.

Can I stop the same result coming up twice?

Yes. The wheel can drop each result after it is picked, so the wheel never shows the same entry twice until you reset the list. The option is called Remove winner.
