A neutral way to pick a player

No bottle or flat floor is required. The wheel picks a name from your circle with equal odds, using a cryptographic random number generator. It is useful whenever you need to choose a person fairly, for any game or task.

Type the players’ names into the entries, one per line. The pointer shows whom the spin chose, and the winner can ask a question, take a turn or choose the next game.

Using it in family and party games

Pair it with truth or dare, a talent show or a forfeit. Keep the stakes friendly, and let anyone pass. With Remove winner after each spin, every player is chosen once before anyone repeats.

More ways to use a neutral picker

Pick who tells the next story, who chooses the music or who starts the next round of a board game. In a classroom, use it to choose a student to read aloud. In a group chat, use it to decide who organizes the next get-together.

Because anyone can see the wheel and the result, the choice is accepted without argument.
