When the dice are lost

Dice go missing under sofas. A wheel with six equal slices gives the same odds as a standard die: one in six for each face. The result is decided by a secure random generator before the spin.

Use it for board games, classroom probability exercises or any game that needs a six-sided roll.

Other dice

For other dice, change the entries: four slices for a d4, eight for a d8, ten for a d10, twelve for a d12 or twenty for a d20. To roll two dice, spin twice and add the numbers. Remember that totals like seven come up more often than two or twelve.
