How to use the League of Legends champion wheel

  1. 1

Spin the wheel before champion select.

  2. 2

Commit to locking in the spun champion in your lane.

Ways to use this wheel

  • Ultimate Bravery Night: Spin for a champion, then spin a secondary wheel for an off-meta mythic item build.
  • 5-Stack Chaos: Every teammate spins to lock in their champion regardless of traditional meta lanes.

Too many champions to choose from

With more than 160 champions, it is easy to fall back on the same few. The wheel lists a dozen well-known picks with their usual lanes, from Ahri in mid to Jinx in the bot lane, and a spin gives you a champion to practice.

Use it in normal games or ARAM rather than ranked while you learn. Some players spin for a champion and then for a lane, which makes for a very different game.

Pasting the full roster

You can paste any number of champion names into the entries panel, one per line, and each becomes a slice. Narrow the list by role if you only want junglers or support players.

Is this wheel really random?

Yes. Nothing about it is rigged: the winner is chosen by your browser's secure random number generator, so a list of 12 gives each entry a 8.33% chance until you change the weights. How our randomness works has the full explanation.
